"Jenn Johnson is an amazing young woman. Mother, musician, prophetic voice to her generation . . . She does it all! Since music is a vehicle she uses to express all of the above, I highly encourage people to sit under the sound of her voice and receive impartation from her in these areas. Really, I have to say that I LOVE Jenn's passion and enthusiasm for Jesus and His people."

a-wak-en-ing [uh-wey-kuh-ning] -adjective
Rousing; a revival of interest or attention. The act of being awakened from sleep.
Jenn Johnson grew up in Humboldt, California, near Fortuna. From day one, she loved music, performing her first solo at church and starting piano lessons at the age of 5.
Around 10 years old, Jenn had her first encounter with the Lord. She was playing basketball one evening in her family’s front yard and looked over to the streetlight near their house. She asked the Lord, “If You’re real, make that street light blink three times.” To Jenn’s disbelief, the streetlight blinked three times. She dropped the basketball and ran inside to tell her mother what had happened.
As the years went by, Jenn started leading worship on piano for the children’s church, then moved on to the junior high youth group and later the high school youth group. She gained experience in “feeling out” God’s presence and learning how to lead worship well.
When she was 17, her family decided to move to Redding, California, where she met her future husband, Brian, and become a lead worship pastor at Bethel Church. Her voice and visible love of the Lord are activation tools that help others enter the amazing presence of God.
“I lead worship because He asked me to. And I love it! Leading people into a depth in Him is amazing,” Jenn says. She has a passion for community, empowerment and encounter, and releasing these elements of supernatural living wherever she goes.
Jenn has been married to Brian for over 10 years now. They have three children: Haley Bren, Téa Kate, and Braden Tyler. Jenn is passionate about her family. She loves being able to partner with her husband in changing the world and raising their children into powerful worshipers of God whose love for the Lord is contagious.
She and Brian live in Redding where they continue as the lead worship pastors at Bethel Church. They travel the world with their music, playing at conferences and speaking in churches. Jenn is also a prolific songwriter, and has written popular songs, including “Taste and See” featured on “We Believe” and God I Look to You”, featured on Bethel’s latest album, “Be Lifted High.”
“I feel like when we worship, our worship goes straight to God and He receives it. And as that happens, I see Him send our praise back onto us, like a boomerang, and sending His name over all the Earth in proclamation.”
