Copyright Administrator

Redding, California, United States | Bethel Music | Full time
The Copyright Administrator is responsible to promote, protect, and collect on the copyrighted songs within the Bethel Music Catalogue. This position plays a vital role in maximizing Bethel Music’s global reach not only through maintaining relationships with internal and external clients, but also by ensuring complete accuracy in the details of work performed. The Copyright Administrator stewards our compositions, sound recording copyrights, and the surrounding metadata which directly relates to the royalties received, allowing our company to create more songs to bring worldwide revival.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Manage publishing email and voicemail correspondence
  • Process new and updated compositions into the catalog management software
  • Complete global registration process to ensure outward ownership and maximize collection
  • Oversee the finalization of lyrics to ensure accuracy for the final audio recording
  • Participate in large scale auditing projects with external repertories to ensure accurate catalog metadata
  • Coordinate with chord chart transcription team for creation of chart assets
  • Correspond with colleagues, partners, sub publishers and other entities regarding our catalog assets
  • Research writers and compositions to complete gaps in metadata
  • Research new/in-conflict compositions and communicate findings
  • Compile reports to satisfy external requests or in support of internal projects
  • Claim label and artist shares for sound recordings on SoundExchange
  • Implement agreement changes and Letters of Direction for our writers, artists, and compositions, on worldwide level
  • Communicate with web development team for updating forward-facing assets
  • Support the Digital Rights and Creative Pub teams as needed
  • Out of state travel required: minimum of 2 times per year
  • ­1 ­to 3 years experience in music publishing preferred
  • Basic understanding of the music industry and rights management
  • ­Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with departments across the organization
  • Ability to multi­task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • ­Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Google Suite
  • Able to remain in stationary position and in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Daily responsibilities include repetitive motions, such as typing, that may involve wrists, hands, or fingers

Fulfillment and Inventory Coordinator

The Fulfillment and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for merchandise knowledge, warehouse organization, order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service. Working closely with the Commerce team, this position fulfills the needs for resell through online, in store, tours, and events. Ultimately, this position is responsible to ensure that the supply and demand of everyday sales for e-commerce, events, and tours are fulfilled on time and with accuracy.
  • Manage the order fulfillment process including selection, packing, shipping, and returns across E-commerce platforms and wholesale orders
  • Process the receiving of new product
  • Ensure shipping materials/warehouse supplies are regularly stocked and available while keeping a high level of organization
  • Provide Shopify customer service
  • Perform inventory spot checks
  • Assist the coordination of product fulfillment and shipment for Bethel Music events
  • Basic e-commerce knowledge and use of sales softwares and platforms including: Shopify, Google Analytics, Inventory Software, Square, and Amazon
  • Basic understanding of accounting software
  • Understanding of finance for stock management
  • Must be able to multi-task and function in fast-paced working environment
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Forklift certification required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Daily responsibilities include repetitive motions, such as typing, that may involve wrists, hands, or fingers
  • Ability to move, transport, and position equipment and inventory on a regular basis up to 50 lbs
