Financial Analyst

Bethel Music
The function of this role is to organize, supervise, and analyze accounting-related functions for Bethel Music, including report and dashboard building, report analysis, general accounting, policy development, cash management, and audit preparation.
Expected Responsibilities:
  • Leadership
    • Oversee day to day accounting functions and activities
    • Ensure a system of controls is adhered to
    • Evangelize the use of data tools and best practices to ensure stakeholders’ analytics needs are being met
  • Analysis
    • Use various technologies to mine complex, voluminous, and different varieties of data sources and platforms to support effective business decisions and/or processes
    • Assist in preparation of various forms of analysis and business intelligence to support business decisions
    • Highlight gaps in reporting and analytics that can create value across the business
    • Calculate Budget vs Actual variance and report on findings
    • Calculate and issue Financial Metrics
    • Provide further analysis as requested
  • Execute
    • Accountable for Accounting Operations
    • Accurate and timely close books which including but not limited to, bank and credit card reconciliations, fixed asset capitalization and depreciation, elimination entries, accruals, and deferrals
    • Provide timely and accurate financial reports to CFO
    • Maintain adequate systems
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP
    • Oversee the compilation of required audit documentation
    • Participate in the annual budgeting and monthly forecast process
Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of general account experience
  • An understanding of GAAP
  • Mastery of the Accounting Cycle
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Non-Profits

Executive Assistant to CEO

Bethel Music
Provide administrative services and support to the CEO, Business Manager, and at times, Senior Executives of Bethel Music. Contribute to the CEO’s efficiency by being well organized, utilizing time management skills, and running staff interference. Conserves CEO's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence, drafting letters and documents, collecting and analyzing information, and initiating telecommunications.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to::
  • Coordinate all aspects of the CEO’s travel, including domestic and international.
  • Produce PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Serve as gatekeeper for the CEO's work and personal schedule, tasks, and pertinent information.
  • Maintain master calendar, which includes:
    • Anticipate potential schedule conflicts and be proactive in addressing any issue.
    • Send executive reminders for upcoming important meetings, visiting VIPs, birthdays, etc.
    • Schedule meetings and appointments as needed.
  • Host VIP guests.
  • Compose emails, notifications, and letters on behalf of CEO.
  • Maintain expense and income spreadsheets.
  • Perform minor property management duties.
  • Complete tasks (errands), provide lunches, prepare coffee, organizing executive office, and other related tasks.
Preferred Experience::
  • 3-5 years experience supporting C-level executives.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organization/time management skills.
  • Skilled communicator, with outstanding verbal & written skills.
  • Proactive approaches to problem-solving; strong decision-making capability.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience with Quickbooks is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.
