Controller for Bethel Music

Compensation DOE + benefits, full-time 40 hours a week in Redding, CA, non-remote, authorized to work in the US
The function of this role is to organize and supervise accounting-related functions for Bethel Music, including general accounting, policy development, cash management, and audit preparation.
Expected Responsibilities:
  • Execute
    • Accountable for Accounting Operations
    • Accurate and timely close books which including but not limited to, bank and credit card reconciliations, fixed asset capitalization and depreciation, elimination entries, accruals, and deferrals
    • Providing timely and accurate financial reports to CFO
    • Maintaining adequate systems
    • Ensuring compliance with GAAP
    • Oversee the compilation of required audit documentation
  • Leadership
    • Oversee day to day accounting functions and activities
    • Oversee accounting staff
    • Oversee adherence to budgets
    • Ensure a system of controls is adhered to
  • Analysis
    • Populate monthly reporting documents
    • Calculate Budget vs Actual variance and report on findings
    • Calculate and issue Financial Metrics
    • Provide further analysis as requested
  • Communication
    • Compile and provide reposts as needed
    • Send monthly statements to customers ensuring any past due payments are collected on
Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of general account experience
  • At least 2 years of management experience
  • An understanding of GAAP
  • Mastery of the Accounting Cycle

Technical Project Manager

As the Technical Project Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Product. In this role you will be an important part of Bethel Music and WorshipU’s next growth cycle. You will use your gifting to increase the technical team planning, efficiency and engagement. Essential Functions::

    • Scope and plan the annual roadmap broken down by quarter for worshipu.com, bethelmusic.com and other web properties.
    • Define and document the product development process from feature prioritization to feature implementation.
    • Hire and onboard the remaining positions to be filled on the product team.

Creative Asset Coordinator

Compensation DOE + benefits, full-time 40 hours a week in Redding, CA, non-remote, authorized to work in the US
The Creative Asset Coordinator guides all creative projects and is responsible for the delivery of work produced by the Creative Department. This role requires not only the coordination of every task, but must have a clear understanding of deliverables, without losing sight of the daily details and the schedule. Creative thinking, leadership skills, detail oriented, emotional intelligence, clear and effective communication are all vital skills for this role. Our deliverables will touch a variety of projects ranging from artist’s albums and songs, to tours and events, to marketing assets. You will work primarily with the Art Director, Marketing Operations Coordinator, Artists, and the Creative Producer.
Expected Responsibilities:
  • Creative Responsibilities:
    • Coordination of all moving parts within the Creative Team, from setting up meetings for ideation to delivery of assets to creative pitches through the completion of a project.
    • Establish project timelines and scope and ensure that these are communicated to all stakeholders, steering committees, including internal and external team members; such as independent contractors.
    • Work closely with Designers, cross functional Project Managers, Media Team.
    • Serve as a liaison between design and media teams, encouraging collaboration and communication.
    • Deliver all design assets for any given project to correct teams and upload all final digital assets to all department folders.
    • Oversee and assess the Design Team, copy, and Studio Team across all tasks and all timelines as Project Coordinator.
    • Schedules all Creative Team meetings, including agendas, taking notes, and action items.
  • Creative Requirements:
    • Experience managing and trafficking digital and print assets.
    • Processes an understanding of Adobe products, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Project Management softwares, such as Asana.
    • Ability to manage multiple high stake projects at once.
    • Ability to simplify complex ideas into actionable goals and objectives.
    • Constantly looking at and brainstorming how to optimize internal processes.
    • Display excellent interpersonal skills
    • Lead projects and workflow from concept to launch for all types of creative projects, to ensure they are on track and on time, follows briefs, and is on budget.
  • Creative Reporting:
    • Determine metrics to track and deliver a monthly report.
    • Monthly meetings and check-in points with Art Director to express any concerns and solutions to any problems that may arise.
    • Build monthly forecasts of monthly routine projects to ensure standards are in place for process, planning and schedules.
  • Creative Required Skills:

YouTube Marketing Volunteer

This volunteer will work directly with the YouTube team for Bethel Music. They will learn the ins and outs of music marketing, publishing, and YouTube content management. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. This is a non-paid position.
