Senior Designer

As our Senior Designer, you are responsible for bringing creative and artistic visual narratives to the Bethel Music brand. Your work and leadership will touch a variety of projects, from artists albums to social posts. You will work primarily with the Creative Director and Marketing team to create a complete brand for each project assigned to you. Leading other designers, this role will determine which artistic elements to use; articulate the vision to their team; review and approve copy, designs or photography; develop budgets and timelines; and determine how to best represent the creative director’s concept.
  • Interpret the story/narrative of a project and express it visually
  • Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Obtain brand direction approval through a series of presentations to the Creative Director first, then the client and/or stakeholder, refining along the way.
  • Help to create brand briefs for each project assigned with a defined art direction that will serve as the visual guide for all marketing assets
  • Design all assets for a project
  • Be available to assist on project shoots to ensure brand expression and consistency
  • Clear communication with the Creative Director about any concerns for projects or team dynamics
  • Create assets for our social media platforms for projects and evergreen campaigns
  • Create assets for all marketing channels as needed: website, merchandise, email, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube etc.
  • Monthly meetings and check-in points with the Creative Director to express any concerns and solutions to any problems that may arise.
Required Skills:

  • Create graphics that communicate an idea or promote a brand
  • A good understanding of best design practice (and ability to design) for all BM Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google Plus, Twitter).

Social Media Coordinator & Copywriter

The Bethel Music Social Media Coordinator & Copywriter is a full-time position that reports to the Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for running all social media channels and crafting copy for all platforms that inspires our audience as well as accomplishes the marketing and creative goals of the brand. The Social Media Coordinator & Copywriter is responsible for cultivating the brand voice and messaging for each project as well as the brand at large. Bethel Music’s Social Media Coordinator & Copywriter creates engaging content that is disseminated across various channels. These channels may include print, digital, and social. The Social Media Coordinator & Copywriter should produce error-free content and have the skills and attention-to-detail to edit their own work. This role will balance many projects at once, and seamlessly contribute to multiple aspects of the company’s marketing mix.
  • Responsible for weekly research on social media platforms Instagram and Facebook, staying up to date with platform updates, opportunities and best practices
  • Responsible for optimization of Facebook and Instagram, ensuring that our channel are up to date and maximized
  • Responsible for understanding the priorities of the movement/label from a communication and content standpoint by actively communicating with managers and directors.
  • Responsible to developing the social media calendar on a 2 week basis, i.e. plans are submitted for approval two weeks in advance of posting
  • Includes asset, caption and relevant links for Facebook, Instagram Feed, Instagram Stories, individually.
  • Responsible for executing all social posting in accordance with the approved 2 week plan
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of Social Platforms: responding to comments and questions, deleting hateful comments, checking direct messages, responding when appropriate, and actively engaging with our audience

They will determine plans for marketing channels that serve the project timeline, and assets needed to effectively market the project. They execute all marketing initiatives alongside their team. The Marketing Manager is responsible for research, execution and reporting on all marketing initiatives.
  • Oversees strategy for all marketing outlets

Commerce and Data Coordinator

Expected Responsibilities:
  • Merchandise and manage category collection pages based on seasonal calendar needs, analytic insights, data and brand strategy.
